Changing my identity

I have been having a lot of outta body experience - not from feeling disconnected and detached but more from taking a step back and looking in on my life like, this is me.

A mother which for some reason lately is blowing my mind, I am a mum to three boys. What a privilege.

A working mum. And let's be honest, work at the moment has been full to the brim.

A business owner, which is also continuing to build and grow

All at once

I have a few contemplations as to why I have been feeling like a bit of a fly on the wall for my own life.

  1. I am shifting in my identity. Which is ever changing with all the seasons of life. For me, now I have finished having babies, returned to work and going all in on my business I feel a change in who I am. A shift. A new season.

  2. I am moving towards living how I feel most aligned. It is also ever changing but I am getting really good at tuning in and delivering on what I actually want. Previous to this, I would have an idea but deny that and continue on with the ‘shoulds’

  3. I am learning to stand up for myself in a way that is new to me. I have always been a yes person, a sure thing, would love to help and hate to disappoint. Lately, saying yes is getting too much for me and my energy, family and life. Saying no and ensuring I am not over committing has been a game changer. Giving myself space to just be at home to just hang is more important to me now than ever.

  4. Changing in our relationships. We have found over the past year that as the kids are joining competitive sports and the school community is alive (post COVID) our personal community and friendships have grown, beautifully. It is magic and supportive and fun. That in itself builds a new, fresh identity.

  5. Finally, a death that shocked my working world to the core has left me thinking more and more about who I am and what I want to be known for. What will be my legacy?

As the seasons of life continue to ever change, this is more of a transition to a new level of life. A new feeling that brings beauty, growth and development. It also brings clarity, direction and determination for the way I want to live my life.

The question is…

Are you clear on how you want to live your life?

Are you ready to level up and ask for what you want?

My upcoming masterclass is very practical giving you the exact tips on how to ask for what you want (and get it) but before we get into that I take you through a process that will clearly define what that actually looks like.

The masterclass is a 3 part series that will leave you knowing exactly what you want and how to ask for it.
